We could not survive without water. In the same way we
depend on the air we breathe to live…just as we are born out
of the placenta amniotic fluid. Above it all, water is fun!
Floating the water surface is uplifting almost as it is
flying up above the sky, defeating gravity. With a very
simple swim the body gains energy and feels great.
For instance, diving is the most amazing activity that some
swimmers do. Down below the surface, the perception of sound
and seeing is altered almost like looking through a lens.
The deep down end, at times, appears to be frightful, as to
take a plunge into a deep sky fall. Apparently, water
resists the body mass more then air can do. Body muscles do
friction against the water in aerobic work-out so greatly
beneficial for muscular activity.
The fluidity of water soothe the body and is gently
therapeutic. Beside, to bathe in a nice bubbly Jacuzzi it's
really cool and refreshing.
The present images are a synthesis resulted from observation
of water fluidity and related effects upon its surface. They
all have been scanned from different input of work like
inks, contact photo exposure, water foam snapped by digital
camera and finally elaborated on computer. Basically,
whenever time allows, I’ve been in the habit of sketching on
plain air by the seaside and swimming pool. Favourite
location and resorts of my leisured time.
